I am about to put in an order for birds in January i'm wanting bantams but can't decide what breed or where to get them from. I was considering urch turnland because I want show quality. Any suggestions? I like long tailed breeds and gamy types. Thanks:)

I love Cochins (Co-shinz) They are great birds and gorgeous chickens!

Here is a picture of my Black Cochin hen with my White Leghorn hen:

She was gorgeous!!

There are a number of great bantam breeds! Within your preferences for long-tailed and gamey type breeds, I'd suggest:

- Bantam phoenixes
- Bantam sumatras
- Old english game bantams
- Modern game bantams

All utterly wonderful breeds if you ask me.

Good luck with your search for the right breed for you!

For what Urch Turnland poultry has that fits what you want Modern Games fit the game and the closes thing they have to long tailed are leghorns.
