Hello! I don’t Have an incubator first of all, so my only chance of getting chicks, is If I get a broody hen, which I really hope happens. So I have Black on white laced Cochin, and an Appenzeller Spitzhauben Rooster. I would like to know how the chicks might end up looking like if the hen goes broody. Thank you for your time

I'd guess you'll have lots of black and white with many random black markings (i.e lacing, spots), and a crest. Your birds will probably be medium sized, with a V-shaped comb crossed with a single comb, similar to my cockerel:

Keep us updated! Excited to see how they turn out, if you even hatch any chicks!

ETA: the cockerel in the photo is a silver duckwing OEGB cross.

I have Black on white laced Cochin, and an Appenzeller Spitzhauben Rooster. I would like to know how the chicks might end up looking like if the hen goes broody.
Traits I would expect to find in those breeds:
Appenzeller Spithauben rooster: black spanglng on silver, crest, v-comb
Silver Laced Cochin hen: black lacing on Silver, feathered feet, single comb

Traits I would expect in the chicks:
Silver with black markings
Markings probably not quite lacing or spangling, but a bit like both
crest
feathered feet
duplex comb (probably looks a bit like a Buttercup's comb, but in this case caused by the cross of v-comb and single comb)

Chicks will probably grow to a mature size in between the parents' sizes.
Daughters may lay white eggs or light brown eggs, depending on exactly which egg-color genes their father has (and since he doesn't lay eggs, you won't know until they start.)

Wow, thanks so much! I just realized that I forgot to add pics, so I will do that. *If they do turn out like you predicted that would be AWESOME!* just a reminder the hen needs to go broody first. Sorry for the bad quality, but I hope these help.
