What breed ?

I was wondering what breed is my lil chick ?
And she likes eating parakeet seeds/ food, is that ok for her to eat?

Ok thanks for the feed back. Neither do I but she likes it. She has her own food but when my birds drop food she goes and eat it

And is a Barred Cochin a mix of a Bantam Cochin and a Barred Rock? Just wondering b/c I don't see Barred Cochin photo/info on the Breeds section

No a Barred Cochin is a purebred Cochin just with white and black barring. Cochins can come in bantam and standard sizes and I think yours is a standard sized one but I could be wrong. If you google Barred Cochins you should get all the information you need as the breeds section does not contain all breeds of chicken. I hope this helps you and sorry if I'm rambling.

It looks like a Barred Cochin and chances are it is a bantam because they are much more common. Also, because of those red wattles, it looks like it's a cockerel. If the parakeet seed it is eating make up less than fifteen percent of it's diet it shouldn't harm it, but make sure to buy some chick grit or caged bird grit with no calcium to prevent an impacted crop.
