What breed?

They don't stand for very long because of there leg condition. I got 6 sexlinks at the same time and they are the same size

The leg issue is similar to one that I have. She gets around pretty well but has one that is turned in. I read it is from a nutrient deficiency in the parent birds feed. Where ever you got them from I would not get more from. If they are not feeding well or have a disorder that causes lameness in the flock they should not be selling them.
I am sorry your chickens are struggling to get around.

well now I have one vote for each gender;). It is small and close to 31/2 or 4 months

Your Barred Rock looked older than that to me. If it is only 31/2 months, I agree that it is a cockerel. A pullet's comb and wattles would not be that large and red at 31/2 months.

The guy said his friend gave him the birds very young and said he had no idea what theY were. I went there to get 6 sexlinks and m6 wife spotted the 2 black ones. The guys said "you want them? $5 each. I was kind of hoping they would be Jersey Giants. They walk 10ft and plop down. They are eating and drinking and are starting to lay eggs on the ground

They seemed fine for a few weeks. I honestly don't think he knew there was a problem. They are best friends and stick very close to each other. If I find there quality of life has taken a bad turn...I'll do the right thing.

Like I said my old gal gets around well enough. She cannot run but she gets where she needs to be. Hopefully yours will come along a bit and find a way to cope. Sounds like they are doing ok for now.
