What breed?

Hi all.
I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the breed of our little chap. We purchased him as a salmon pekin/Cochin bantam. However on researching there seems to be a little bit of a question mark on similar looking ones.

He's not Salmon, that's a coloring that is based on the wheaten pattern. He's got the silver and mahogany components, but there are other things going on that should not be present in Salmon. It looks like mottling, but confined to his chest. The mottling gene express across the whole bird, so it can't be that gene. I'm going to guess he's got a columbian or dark brown gene that is interacting with the mahogany gene to allow the silver ground color to bleed through in the chest like that.
 
Then i read articles with photos like this and think there is quite a resemblance

I only have female favorelles and blue pekins lol and even then my partner would kill me if i hatched more at the moment haha
