We got this chick from a neighbor after it's own mother let it and all it's siblings get wet and cold, this one was the only survivor. We mothered it on to a broody hen with great success! She loves her new fluffy child
So i'm wondering what breed it is, unfortunately I don't have any chick photos, but it was orange with 'racing stripes' (is there a proper name for these marks?)
About 3-4 weeks

And one of them roosting, because it's cute

That picture in the tree is so cute! As for the chick, it is probably a mixed breed. I can't think of anything that fits with chipmunk striping as a baby, buff plumage and dark legs.

I’m a newbie to chickens and have no idea one the breed, but that pic in the tree is just precious!!
