Anyone know what breed of chicken this is?

Looks like a mixed breed. Where did he come from?

Ordered him from McMurray Hatchery. He came in a mix of their “best” layer hens. Whoops he has the wrong parts. Haha

I guess I was wrong then. Hatcheries don’t (usually) sell mixed breeds.

He looks like a cross between a Danish Brown Leghorn and a New Hampshire Red. I experimented with those breeds and that's what they looked like. Very nice bird!

He’s pretty. Just can’t find a match when browsing through photos and such on the interwebs.

He could also be a lower quality New Hampshire Red. Hatcheries usually sell lower quality birds (appearance-wise)

You know, I was thinking that but I owned those and they are all red save the tail feathers
