Can anyone tell me the breed of this black rooster? A neighbor lady gave him to me.

Yep, Polish mix. Probably some gamefowl blood, too.

The comb was throwing me off. The lady is 87 and loves her chickens but can't remember where he came from. I think he is beautiful.

I agree it looks like it has some polish from the legs and tail and slight cresty bit. Wonder what the other bits are?

He is a polish mix for sure. I have some boys which is same as this guy

I love all these odd crossed combs.
I've seen some really cool ones on Polish crosses.

Looks like the typical V-comb mixed with a single. certainly a unique chicken.
