So 9 weeks ago I purchased 4 (what was supposed to be) cuckoo maran pullets. Fast forward to today- the girls do not look like cuckoo maran at all. Anyone have any idea on what they might be? Maybe australorp, andalusian, or sapphire gem?

I am new to chickens so I am trying to figure out temperaments, laying, etc.

Where did you get them? Some hatcheries carry a blue cuckoo Marans that look very similar to the regular blue Marans. Can be difficult to tell the difference.
They could also be the blue copper Marans variety, the amount of copper they develop also varies from bird to bird from none to the full collar around the neck.😊

Cuckoo Marans would have a head spot as a chick. I see some barring/cuckoo in the hackles of the first bird. I am still thinking OP’s birds are Blue Marans.

For the OP, do you happen to have pictures of them when they were chicks?
Yes.

I bought them from a local tractor supply- they use Hoover’s hatchery.
