This guy showed up in our yard and has been coming by every day this week. Any idea what he is? He looks a little rough.

He is an American Gamefowl of some strain.

Yeah, he's a gamefowl rooster. Since he appears to be dubbed he probably has an owner somewhere and isn't feral. But you're right, he looks to having a rough go of it. Perhaps he wandered off or was abandoned.
