What breed?

These are six week old chicks from McMurray. I have Cuckoo Marans and Barred Rocks in the group, but these are much darker!

Pic #2's legs are dark = Maran.

Can't see the other ones legs.

Oh, forgot to mention that I have 16 Marans (9 weeks) from McMurray and one pullet and one roo have yellow legs, the rest are dark. We are eating the roo and I'm giving away the pullet.

I have some barred rocks in the group. They are a lighter feather color and definitely have yellow legs and beaks. Could these be very dark cuckoo marans?

Cuckoo Maran, Barred rocks have lighter barring.

Marans generally have white or slate colored legs, Barred Rocks are yellow.

Female barred rocks are typically darker than male BRs and ususally have a dark wash (grey) going down the front of their yellow legs.

These are my hatchery BR pullets at 7-8 weeks of age.
