I've got this chick and I cannot figure out what he is. Process of elimination says he should be one of the Wyandottes I ordered but I have no idea. His legs are huge and he's getting to be twice as big as everyone else, so if he is a Wyandotte, he is a wrong sexed one. They were supposed to be female. Not an issue, I just can't figure out what he is.

Can you show us the comb bud? This will help to rule in rule out potential breed identifications. Also photo lighting can sometimes make it hard to tell things like leg coloration, what color are the legs in person? They appear whitish pink in the photos

Photos added. I have a silver laced Wyandotte from the same batch that has what looks like a single comb, so that doesn't rule out Wyandotte for me. I know they aren't supposed to have one but one of mine from TSC last year also had a single comb, was for sure a Wyandotte, so it's possible. This chick has me so stumped.

I should add I ordered chicks from Hooverys Hatchery. Five, of three different breeds and five BBQ specials for roosters. I have two of the three breeds figured out no problem. There was no mistaking them. The Wyandottes, I thought I had figured out, and he is one of them. The five mystery chicks, I think I have figured out which would leave him a Wyandotte. For the five BBQ specials I have one white one, one Black Australorp, one Buckeye, and then two that died. One died in transport, they were only in transport for barely 24 hours. The second died a few days later and he was always weak. Both of those chicks looked exactly the same, and the one that lived a few days was growing Lavender colored feathers, so I assume they were both Lavender orpingtons. Again, should leave this guy as a Wyandotte. There is one other chick in this batch that is a Silver Laced Wyandotte and also had what looks like a single comb coming in, and acts like a rooster. I will not be surprised if they both end up being wrongly sexed.

The bird is barred, and Hoover's doesn't offer barred Wyandottes. I'm not even sure they exist. Hoover's does offer Rainbows under dual purpose breeds, and I am betting that's what this chick is.

I'm thinking olive egger or one of the meat type hybrids like 'Rainbows' sold by hatcheries. It seems off to me for a Bieleflder or Welbar, but hatchery chicks can vary a lot, so can't rule them out.
He is very fluffy. I was wondering about Olive Egge also, but he doesn't have obvious fluffy cheeks that most have. He is also huge. He will be interesting to watch grow if nothing else
