Ok, I'm fairly new to chickens. My Dad has a couple dozen and I fell in love with them. I have a GLW and an Araucana. (The Wyandotte is my favorite!) I bought some RIR's yesterday, along with two other reds. Not sure if they're New Hampshire Reds or Production Reds? BUT, today I went to the feed store. They claimed the had SLW's, but they were yellow. It's been a while since ours were chicks, but yellow didn't seem right. I thought they were much darker. I came home and looked it up, and sure enough, they are dark. I was hoping my new ones were some kind of Wyandotte, but I highly doubt it. So, I was wondering if anyone had an idea of what these could be? The store I bought them from is great- always honest, so I have no idea what happened lol. They're cute, but I'm just curious as to what they are. They've got to be something common. I'm just hoping anything but Leghorns...lol Thanks for the help!

RIR's and New Hampshire Red's or Production Reds? I know the 4 dark ones are RIR's, but do the other 2 lighter ones look like NHR's or PR's?

The flash on the camera makes them all look a little bit lighter than they actually are

Thanks!

the ones that are in with the RIRs are probably Red sex-links, they are normally lighter, like yours.
the other ones are either leghorns or white rocks.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking after 2 days of constant research, but I felt no closer to an answer lol. I appreciate the help
