What Breed.....

I am hungarian and dh is turkish. I joke and say together we made a few hungry turkeys.

Paternal: Italian/German
Maternal: Norwegian/German

All of my grandparents were immigrants. We're newbies here in the good ol' USA

Paternal: English & Scottish
Maternal: German & Scots Irish

But all immigration was pre-Revolution, so I am guessing that there could be more variation and Heinz 57 than it appears. I'd have to check the family tree, but there may have been one woman who immigrated in the mid 1800s. But eveyone one else goes WAY back.

Paternal: Not really sure, but I think Native American

Maternal: Cherokee, Scottish, Irish, French, English, Welsh

My grandmother's family came over in 1635 from Southampton, England & my grandfather's family were Quakers that came over before the French & Indian War. And I look very Irish.

Paternal: German & French Canadian

Maternal: Irish & Cherokee and I'm not sure what else. I'm missing info of the maternal side farther up.

My pedigree would look jacked up.

All I see is the Indian cheekbones. And super dark hair. I didn't get the super dark brown eyes, those got washed out to hazel with the introduction of the blond genes. Height from the French/Canadian, down right lanky on the men and no one shorter than 6'3. Different story on the maternal side, short little folks. Great Grandpa and great Grandma were 5'2 and 4'11. I scored 5'9. If you look at it with a breeding perspective... I took the features of the maternal and conformation from the paternal. LOL It's funny to think about it like that.

My brother too, tall, lanky, European looking Indian. Haha.

Dark blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin, small features. I definitely have stubborness from the Swede, and the love of land from the Irish. I think I also have a connection with my farm (the flora and fauna) from the Mohican because my farm actually was a primitive meeting site and burial ground for the Natives a looong time ago. Anyway, cool thread.
