what breed?

I am not convinced #1 is an EE because she doesn't look bearded/muffed and I think I see a straight comb.
On my screen (could be my colors are off), the feet on #5 look yellow and a Australorp should have pink/white so I would guess Jersey Giant instead of Lorp.
Spike nneds more time/pictures to get a guess.
I agree about the Speckled Sussex.

1 could easily be an ee and since they are mixed they can have any type of comb, any body shape, any body color, and leg color, and any egg color, however i do believe that is a golden campine and not an EE.

I agree an EE could have any or all of the listed traits.

I guess it just seems that anytime anybody sees a brownish colored or chipmunk chick they automatically identify it as EE even if there are no other signs of it being an EE. There are lots of purebreds out there that are chipmunk patterened at hatch.

To each their own. Some folks like to use EE as a synonym for mutt chicken, but personally I like to have more evidence that the chicken has an Ameraucana or Araucana somewhere in its ancestry, but that's just one little person's opinion.

pandora could be a scecilian buttercup.
