This is my friend's "exotic rare" extra from McMurray. Anyone know what he is? Sorry for the bad pic, just made her go out and snap it at 10:30pm while he was sleeping! LOL Looks maybe like an Ameraucana/EE mutt?

HHMMMM My EEs have pea combs they can have different styles? Every EE I have seen has a pea comb. But I guess it would make since since they are a mutt

Yes, they can have single combs. A result of bad culling or breeding, or a stinker getting into the breeding pen. Or, just a bad genetic showing it's face.

It is the norm.

I think the single pea is pullet, triple means roo. I've not ever taken the time to look that close on my chicks.

LOL ok just curious I have 2 with triple pea and 3 with single and having a hard time figuring out if the 3 are ameracauna, they 3 are all hens and much bigger than the 2 roos
