What breed?

They are from a local farm, he does most the breeding and I do know some are mutts, he also orders from hatcheries when he wants to sell something he doesnt have..

Although I'm not familiar with the details for all the Ameraucana colors, (there are 8), I believe you have all Easter Eggers. Those mixed colors aren't indicators of purebreds.

In order for him to be selling pure Ameraucanas, he would have to buy them from a breeder, until this year, no hatchery sold Ameraucanas, although they said they did. One hatchery, I believe MPC, began selling them this year, but I haven't seen any pictures of any from there.

You have a bunch of beautiful birds, though, I especially love the second one.

Btw, sex:
my guess is Roo, Pullet, Roo, Roo, Roo, but i'm farrrrr from an expert.

The black one stumps me , 2,3,4 are pullet and 5 cockerell.. Now the first and last are alot smaller than the middle 3 they are all same age but the middle 3 are twice the size of the other 2..
Thank you, I have a mixed flock lots of color and variety they are 4 1/2 months old now, cant wait for eggs

It was the red on 3 and 4 that made me say roo

HHmmm you cant really see her (4) comb in tha pic. The other one it was super hot that day as you can see her laying by a frozen 2 litre
dont have to see combs on birds that old just a side shot would work. i can tell that the last is 100% cockerel from its hackles and you can see the long slender saddles as well. 2 and 3 are pullets all the way. as for 1 and 4 i cant tell from those pis but they look like 1 a pullet and 4 a cockerel

I have the gender part down (aside from midnight, the first one) I just wasnt sure on breed,, but being an EE I get that now, all I need is to figure out why midnight and Alpha, the last roo, are so much smaller, my 14 wk old RIR is already twice is size, maybe they are mixed with a bantam??????
