    hi i was wondering what pheasant breed should i get? well i live in scotland and live on a farm, my friend asked me to get some phesants so we can 'go hunting' whitch i probally wont but would love to try some! also what time do you think i can start to order some i've heard that you can only order them in april but is that true ? thanks

    Well obviously you know what you want ,so why wait?If you want them just for color,you can get all males and house them together as long as there are no hens around.This way you can enjoy multiple colored birds.There are over 40 true species of pheasants.

    goldens or lady amhersts are quite small and relatively low maintinence and are arguably the most colourfull of pheasants
