Ok, that makes things easier....it looks like it could be a polish mixed with cochin. Or possibly a silkie polish mix (if it has more than 4 toes)

Though he gave me Japanese bantams out of that same batch too :L

Ok...but you have to have a crested gene and a feather footed gene to make this bird. Japanese bantams don't have either of those genes. How big is this bird? Does it look like a bantam...or close to that size?

Ok lol then I think it's safe to say it's probably not a Japanese cross, or a silkie cross (they are pretty small too) my guess would then be is a polish/cochin mix

I don't see why it would be a bad thing...it gave you this chick! and again I just want you to know I'm no expert...this is only my bet guess!

Jus noticed this morning he has 5 toes, hes a silkie cross then
