What breeding projects are you working on or you want to work on.

The color combos I got really shocked me the roo is a white silkie and hen is buff orp(never intended to breed them she was an egg eater and I put her in with the roo to keep him company and give him someone to snuggle with in the winter)....I got 3 that look like buff orps, 2 black/buff, 2 white/buff and the lil blue/lav??

it's so exciting to see all the color combos you get and how babies from same parents can look so different

I had a brilliant idea. I was flipping through some pictures and thought could you make a coronation bantam cochin? I would love to work on that but I would like to do it with someone, and plus I'm not set up right now for that.

I have several projects that have been going now for a few years with our waterfowl. I have been developing Miniature Saxonies and true Miniature Appleyards. They may finally be ready to sell at some point probably next Fall (Fall 2011). I have also been working with some Miniature Overbergs that the Holderread's sent me last year. They initially sent me one drake and three hens. I have substantially increased the flock and should be able to finally offer the birds for sale at the start of the next season. The Overbergs are exciting because they have never been available in the US and they are breeding 100% true. They are beautiful and extremely friendly little birds.

Actually, in our Runners as well, we have a few colors that are almost completely unheard of that we will be able to offer for sale at the start of the next breeding season including Saxony Runners that are looking just amazing. I took some that I bred here and have them paired with some hens that Dave bred and we are making great strides forward with the color. We also have a few other things that are still in the very early stages of development.

shay I should have gave your frizzle duccle roo back to you. he was getting real pretty. He was mostly red but with white tips at each of his feathers and he had the bread and feather feet. I sold him this last weekend for $2 I really need to cut down on birds sold over 100 birds along with my Hamburgs, Pheonix, Blue Bantam cochins, Black Bantam cochins, and mille duccles
