What breeds are easy to sex at birth?

Welsumers are dead easy to identify as chicks same as Cream Legbars - all look like Chipmonks with good 'egytian' eye liners!
Hybrids like Buff Plymouth Rocks and Light Sussex even easier all the boys are White/ with some buff or yellow the hens are buff as I found out this year all were boys except for one!

Orpingtons are hopeless to identify so were my Araucanas

This one was supposed to also be a wellie hen as it came from a Brown egg and had the eye stripe we thought it might be a blond wellie but it turned out to be a Heinz with what looks like a lot of Light Sussex in it.

That's quite a bit of information to take on at once! Our rooster was a BO, and I know quite a few people with accidental Orpington roosters. Do Welsummers lay well?

Welsummers are good layers, and usually lay a darker than normal brown egg, often a terra-cotta color. Great for a little color in the egg basket!
