Need help identifying these breeds. I am a new chicken owner and I bought the surprise hatchling but later realized that all breeds are different and have different needs. I am going to post a series of pictures and if anyone can help me identify I would appreciate it. Some are 3.5 weeks old and some are 1.5 weeks old. I have narrowed down some breeds but some of the breeds look so familiar it's hard to tell. I know the polish ones, bared Plymouth rock, and Rhode island red but that's about it for certain. Some of the brown ones look like they could be different and some of the black ones as well. Have no idea on any of the grey, black and grey, multi colored ones, and the white wing one. I want to do the best by them so any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean, exactly, by all breeds have different needs?

Where did you order your surprise boxes from?
After you ordered the first one you didn't realize that were all different breeds so you ordered a second one?

I ordered from tractor supply. I ordered all at same time but the last group was a replacement because alot didn't make it 1st time. Different needs in terms of some are ok with confinement whereas others seem to like free range based on what I'm reading.

All chickens like more space/to free range...do you have enough room in your coop for all of these or are You trying to figure out what they are so you know which ones to keep and which ones to rehome?

I’ve always had tons of different breeds and mixes and I’ve always taken care of them the same way. They’re all fine as long as they have enough room. Now, I do usually let mine free range but that’s recently. For a while I didn’t and they were fine then too.

It will help the people you are asking for help from if you label each bird with their own number and if you post clear pictures with one or two birds per picture.

It's hard to tell just how many different birds are pictured above.

Fine because you didn't have too many crammed in a coop and run.

I have a 10x10 and a 10x6. Working on a 3rd cage to be the in-between. They are all amazing and we love all of them. I do notice that a few of the breeds appear to be more aggressive then the others and I want to make sure I have a safe place for the ones that tend to be picked on more. Honestly I didn't know it would be so hard to identify the breeds. I was going to order from a hatchery outside of tractor but it said I had to order in quantity of 5 and would be a mix between hen and roo. I didn't want any roosters so this was the only way I saw to get a few different types without hopefully a roo. Not like I don't like roosters just not allowed to have in my area

Ok I will repost later today. My daughter is better with this type of stuff then me. Lol. Thank you

It doesn't appear that you have any aggressive type birds.
If you're seeing attitude problems right now it's because they're in too small of a brooder.

Can you move them out to the coop already?
