we got these chicks a couple four months ago, and we have no idea what breeds they are. the white one and the brown one you see as well as the orange chick came from next door, and the last one we hatched (we have no idea what breed he is- we have a rhode island red rooster, and red sex link hens, as well as other rhode islands.). can someone help us? also, we don't know genders either.

I'm not sure of the breeds, but the orange and white chicks are pullets, one you hatched is a cockerel, and a side body pic of the middle one would be better.

The orange looks like a Red Sex Link to me, the middle (red) looks like a Rhode Island Red, the white looks like a Leghorn, and the last one has me a little stumped. He looks like a RIR at first glance. Do those black feathers have any green sheen to them?

#1 red sexlink pullet.
#2 RIR cockerel. (Obvious male hackles)
#3 with those white/pink legs maybe an Orpington or Sussex mix.
#4 mixed breed cockerel. (very clear male feathering)

it's more of a dark blue shine than a green, but it's a bit greenish mixed as well. i think he may be a rhode island x red sex link mix, seeing as he doesn't look like a regular rhode island red and the only other older chickens that are able to lay eggs are red sex links.

I think you're right on the RIR x SL. Pretty bird!
