What breeds are these?

These two chicks were found wandering in our neighborhood. Does anyone know what their breeds are? Or about how old they are?

I am not an expert, but i believe these chickens are around the age of 4-6 weeks old. As for the breed... idk. I'll do some quick research to see if i can come up with an answer.

The black one is most likely an austrolorp, and the golden one may be a buff orphington.

Hi! I am guessing they are around 3-4 weeks. It looks like maybe a Buff Orpington Cockerel and maybe a Black Sexlink pullet? The black one could also be a mutt...

The black one has some brown coming in- maybe a black sex link pullet. The buff looks to be a cockerel but, color seems too dark for a Buff Orp.

Post new photos when they are a few weeks older, and we should be able to provide more definitive answers.

The buff one is almost certainly a cockerel. I thought I was seeing feathered shanks on it, so was thinking maybe a buff cochin but they may both be mixed breeds.

Still to young to determine breed with any certainty. They are just as likely crossbreds as they are pure breeds. They are around 2-3 weeks of age, 3 weeks at the very most. By 4-5 weeks all of the chick fluff would be gone and they still have quite a little.

I'm guessing 3-4 weeks old, and you will have to wait a while for certain breed.
