Also someday I want to re-establish free range peafowl on this farm. They’ve been here for at least 50 years, but for various reasons there are none now.

That would be an interesting flock! I also like the looks of gamefowl, but their behavior differs from that of say...a Dominique or an Orpington.

Dong Tao is such a strange breed of chicken. I wonder how comfortable it can be for them to have such...different...legs.

I love gamefowl, always have. I tamed down like 5 of my neighbors wild gamefowl. They were mean when they were trapped and I tamed them. It’s given me a love for gamefowl. Right now I have no space for any. But hopefully one day.

My favs:

1. Dutch bantams (silver/gold duckwing, self-blue) (I want soooooooooooooooo bad...they are hard to find but I'm trying to get some for this spring)
2. Silkies (lavender, splash, white, blue, buff) (want soooooo bad...will get some chicks for spring...)
3. Frizzles (sizzles or Pekin frizzles) (Unlikely this year...maybe tho...)
4. Red gold-laced Wyandotte bantam (Probs won't get this spring..maybe tho....)
5. Bantam Australorps (black) (Might get a couple of chicks this spring)
6. Bantam Easter Eggers (gold, lavender, white??) (Might get some this spring)
7. Bantam Orpingtons (buff, gold, lavender) (might get some buffs this spring)
8. Old English game bantams (duckwing again) (meh......)
9. Polish bantams (gold-laced, golden, white, lavender??) (love me some funky-looking bantams)
10. Barbu/belgian/(all of the other ones) d'uccles (white, millefleur, lavender) (cute lil things...)
11. Sebrights (golden, silver?) (the smallest chicken breed...really pretty.....would like some one day...)
12. Pekins (Idk..golden?? Lavender?? They are all cute) (Don't think this year...)
13. Japanese bantams (lavender??) (not this year unless I find them which is unlikely...)
14. Araucanas (Lavender, white, golden partridge) (love the blue eggs....the survival rate is really low though...)
15. Spitzhaubens (golden, silver??) (Another wacky cute one...I think I have a spitzhauben cross....)
16. Bantam gold spangled hamburgs...(already have one or a cross between silver and gold) (not this year, they are cute but I'm not filling precious space with just "cute"....only ADORABLE like silkies and dutch bantams...

Oh, and you don't see any sex-links? Because they are obviously the most dreadfully boring things on earth

Ayam Cemanis are cool but unfortunately don't exist in Australia.....:c

This is just what I expect, I don't have many options, there aren't too many people selling bantam chicks near me right now...hopefully it will pick up coming into spring...I'd be happy for any of these....AS LONG AS I GET MAH FLOOFY SILKIE BEBESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
