good after noon,

I was wandering if and what breeds of ducks would be able to fly a good six feet vertical without crazy strain on the duck daily? These said ducks could have to coexist with chickens. They would have a small pond avaliable to them so swimming is aloud, but needed. Thank you for your time and advise!!

I'M GETTING DUCKS WOOO HOOOO

Muscovies, Mallards, Calls are good fliers and of course exotic ducks are excellent fliers as well.

We raised Call ducks for years....and YES they can fly. And now we have Silkie Chickens.
The Call ducks do NOT go in by themselves like the chickens do. We had to drive them in.
And we have cold Winters here....and that was NO FUN.

We now have an automatic door...up at llght, down at dusk. Our Chickens go out by themselves and in by themselves. Much more FUN.

And our chickens have a personality. Our Call Ducks did not. Regards, Aria
