2 Barred Rocks, 2 RIR in the flock currently. The 2 RIR will be for sale in the spring so I can get 2 more barred rocks. The rir are too noisey for us to keep so we will be getting 2 more quiet barred rocks to go with Oreo, and Lacey.

1 cubalaya rooster
2 cubalaya hens
2 Marans hens, one cuckoo, one BCM
2 production red hens
2 cubalaya/production red mixes, one cockerel one pullet

still have the same ones i'v had for 5 years now: barred rock, ee, buff orp, 2 red sex links, 2 black austrolorps, 1 german hamburg roo.

funny thing - i had built a new coop and run for them and moved them into it the last of September - we did not get another egg until last week - i guess they finally got used to the new digs and decided it was time to start laying again!

By being roosterly, do you mean charges you when you are making his hens squawk?

No, he defecates, stamps his feet and does his imitation of a cobra about to strike. He stretches and flattens his neck and waves his head back and forth. If I return the challenge he will jump as high as he can to flog me. I usually snatch him and sling him across the pen.
