So, I already have my two baby chicks, my silver laced sebright and my Barred Rock, but I just contact TSC and they said they are supplied with, California whites, California grey, Blue plymouth rock and Buff orpington.
I definitely am going for a orpington and I wanna try out a different breed since I already have a barred rock, anyone know of the California white chicken breed?
I'm really curious to see if the California grey or white is good for a flock who will enjoy human interaction, let me know what you guys think!

I really liked my California White. She wasn't a lap chicken (I think they are a Leghorn cross so they have a little flightyness to them) but she was sweet, on the smaller side and inquisitive. I would get another one.

Did you handle tour as a baby chick?
Cause I hand raise all mine, but I heard both tgeir inquisitive and sweet and they just wanna be with you.
Idk I really wanna try out this breed but I don't know enough about them.

I'm kind of middle-of-the-road handling my chicks. I have them free-ranging a big area with quite a few predators, so I like them to have a little trepidation to big scaries. I think they are sweet enough if you gave her enough attention early on to be an in-your-pocket chicken.

Alright, thank you for telling me about them!
Do you have any idea about the California Grey's?
I heard their pretty confident, but they oddly enough look like smallar barred rocks.

I believe the California Whites are a cross between a White Leghorn hen and a California Gray male. I have never owned one, but imagine the CA. White gets their friendliness from the CA. Grays.

I believe CA. Grays are a cross between White Leghorns and Barred Rocks. (You probably can't go wrong with either breeds.) Should be great layers.
