What breeds should I get!!!!

Delawares seem to fit the bill.
They're good dual purpose, hardy birds. Pretty, too. Also good to keep the breed from dying out.

Total neophyte here, but was wondering did you post mainly for conversation (something I would do ). I say that because I am thinking (as a person with beaucoup breeds running around here now) "Girl (if you're a girl) get whatever you want". It's not like it's an irreversable decision.

Okay, may I say, get something FUN (of course that checks off all on your list). Seems everytime I learn of a breed thinking "that's surely it"; I find out about another; yuk yuk. My latest jam are bielefelders and Niederrheiners. They check off all my list AND THEN SOME; I'm jus' sayin'!

Keep us posted with what you decide. This is kinda exciting. I can't get any more but I sure can cheer someone else on.

Oh boy, looks like I gotta be watching some things in my flock then . I am still trying to see who is who rooster-wise. A mixed bunch out there and some are coming into their own. I was hoping that whole pecking order thing would ensure no "crushing". We'll see.
