Ancona, Cayuga, Buff Orpington, Black Swedish, Blue Swedish, or Khaki Campbell? I honestly don't know the difference, I guess I have some googling to do. Just looking for freindly egg laying pets.

I love them all.

Khaki's are prolific egg layers.
Ancona's are gorgeous cause they all color out differently
Swede's both blue and black just look regal to me.
Buff are my favs but their light color made them all easy prey to a local fox.

So...why pick? Get some of each!!! lol

i have khaki-campbells and i just have one thing to say, they're the best! ducks anyone can have. they're sorta expensive, i bought a pair of them at the amish country for a bargain price of just $15.00, they were 5 months of age and now she is laying 1 egg a day! if you order some from a hatchery be prepared to pay a high price for them. I have 20 eggs going into the bator in a couple of days! get yourself some campbells.

I love my Anconas! I used to raise Khaki Campbells (flighty) and Buff Orpingtons, but I think the Anconas are the best. I left them to forage over winter and they just moved in with the goats when they got cold and took care of themselves mostly, I put out a little grain like maybe once a week only, but they found enough stuff out there to grow fat and sassy. They are known to be very good foragers. Mine have started laying eggs already which is better than most of my chickens.

Cayugas hands down. I love everyone I have amazing looking ducks and great ducks to keep and did I say they look amazing? Then I'd go with Welsh Harlequin (i know you didn't list them) the harlequins are basically the same as a khaki but just a tad different and will lay everybit as good as khakis. My very last choice would be the swedes. I have them and don't like them at all. They're very boring ducks that aren't great layers.
