What can be wrong?

I have a young Red & her throat directly under her head is very protruding & hard. It is far too high to be a crop issue although I have tried coconut oil & massaging it. It feels like a 2" piece of very hard bumpy spinal cord. She has stopped eating & sleeps most of the time. She has one wing that also droops down.Any suggestions?

Could you be feeling her bony tracheal cartilage, similar to your adam’s apple? Can you include more information about her age, if she was vaccinated for Mareks disease, any weight loss, or anything else that can help? Does she lay eggs? Can you try holding some watery chicken feed up to her beak and getting her to drink?

It feels like the breast bone possibly, she is about 6months old hasn’t started laying yet
I don’t know what vaccines she might have had , I bought her at about 11weeks & wasn’t aware that I should ask. I’ll try the watery feed, thank you
