What Can Chicks Eat Besides Chick Feed?

Hello everyone! I have four chicks right how that are 1 1/2 weeks old, and I was wondering what I could give them besides chick feed for treats. If they were being raised by a hen, I figure they would eat all kinds of bugs, grass, grit, and other things outside, but I just wanted to double check. So what can I give them? Any advice appreciated. Thanks

I used to crumble up mealworms, crickets {without the legs}, broccoli, and wet feed. Then mix it and they would just go craazy for it.

Do they have grit? If not, feed them only chick starter. If they have grit they can eat other things.

My Chicks only get a Medicated Start & Grow feed for 10 weeks. At two weeks I mix in Chick Grit at a 1/40 pound ratio.
At 10 weeks I offer them Scratch Grains scattered around their pen daily and a flake of Alfalfa hay weekly.
The chick starter grower has all the nutrients they need to grow up healthy.
My seven 7 months old Barred Rocks started to lay at 20 weeks and all were laying by 23 weeks. .
They gave me 42 eggs last week. . GC

I bought about a 2 gallon bag of granite grit from the local mill, they put it in their chicken scratch. Ran it thru a colander with 1/16" holes. Bagged the smaller stuff for the chicks and sprinkle some over a chunk of sod in the brooder during the second week.
