What can ducklings eat other than their main feed?

Is aspen bedding ok ? I recently changed and you would think they were at a buffet ! They're chowing down on it !!!!

As for bedding, I don't know what's good for them and what's not. We used towels instead of actual bedding. For their coop, we're planning on using hay and shavings.
