what can i do for my hen

i have a white hen, i dont know her age but she must of been young when i got her, because she started laying eggs, i dont know what happened to her if it was the rooster or if she go stung by something, her face is swollen,her eye is shut i cant take her to the vet they dont deal with poultry so i dont know what to dp.

It sounds like what one of my chicks had, but it is hard to say. Would you mind posting a picture?

If you can't post a picture it's ok. I would recommend putting triple antibiotic on the eye and gently soaking her eye with a warm paper towel or washcloth.
