I am getting ready to set my chicks out from the brooder and into the coop in the next few weeks. I ordered a Cuckoo Maran rooster and I have an Ayam Cemani rooster. I was wondering what my chicks could possibly look like out of the pullets that I will have. They are:

    Buff Minorca
    Black Minorca
    White Laced Red Cornish
    Swedish Flower Hens
    Coronation Sussex
    Buff Orpington
    White Bresse
    Black Copper Marans
    White Leghorn
    White Faced Black Spanish
    Creme Legbar
    Blue Isbar
    Silver Spangled Hamburg
    Golden Laced Wyandotte

What would egg color be on these crosses?

Every chick from the Ayam Cemani rooster will be solid black since black is dominate. Since barring is dominate then all the chicks from the cuckoo Marans rooster will be barred. All the eggs will be brown of varying shades. If you were hoping to get a rainbow of colors similar to your pullets you cant get it using black/barred roosters.

Pretty much anything but black or white. Black is extended black and tends to take over most other colors. White can be recessive, but if you get dominant white most of the chicks will be white with spots of color. Buff, red, pretty much any other color rooster will give you colorful chicks.
