what can i feed my 1 week old chicks

i have got three, 1 week old chicks and i was wondering what else i could feed them apart from chick crumb? They must be getting bored of this surely thankyou

I was told by the Tractor Supply guy that chicks at 1 week can eat the mealworms in the pack. Like you, I still new with chickens so I depend on what they tell me.

Thankyou, ill look into getting some is there anything else that they can eat? Would they be able to eat bread crumbs, or are they still to young?

! Great to have you with us! I think treats (mealworms, veggies, etc) should be withheld until at least 2 weeks. In terms of feed, chick starter is nutritionally complete - they need nothing else at this point.

Thank you I will carry on feeding them chick crumb until they are older.

If chicks don't get too spoiled by extra treats they will be happy to eat the same chick feed every day.
