Things you wish you could say

in the bread conversation;

I mill my own red wheat berries -- you can say that's about as freakin pure whole wheat as you can possibly get since I make my own flour and the bran is still in there. (the berries still have the bran on them before milling)

I use a bread maker.

2.5 cups flour
1/4 cup milk
1 cup water
tablespoon of butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp yeast

Dunno what you're all on about but this is not dense and it rises and it's lovely. Japanese brand Zojirushi breadmaker (1 lb loaf) with the regular recipe that the machine gives.

It's not as squishy as the white stuff in the grocery store, but it's great bread.
I don't hsve a bread machine, but I have KA mixer and I am going to try this. Will report back if I can remember which thread this is in (no promises!)
