What can I put on their backs?

Two of my hens, one specifically have bare backs from my rooster. It looks red,dry and painful. Is there any kind of cream I can put on it like neosporin or something?
 
I have seen "aprons" that you can put on them to protect their backs. Meyer Hatchery in Ohio has them. Those goofy roosters!!!!
 
Yes! We didn't intend to have him. I've been trying to do research to find him a new home but nobody wants roos. (That wont kill for meat)
