What can I rest my coop on

I like the idea of the lowes' blocks, but I also think you would get better results if you put them on a better base. Would digging a hole and filling it with gravel give it a better foundation for the pyramids to sit on?
I used those deck blocks for our house deck. They work great! Buy a tamper tool to compact the soil (they come is 6x6 or 8x8 size). You can add a 12" square paver below the block for added stability. You can add a 4x4 in the deck blocks or wood joists.

You will have the best stability if you build on undisturbed or compacted soil rather than on fill (it settles).
