wHAT CAN i USE TO KEEP ROACHES AND OTHER BUGS OUT OF MY COUP?

I used to have those nasty silverfish things all over the house and yard. Once I got the chickens I can't remember the last time I saw one.

Just went out there to lock the back gate on the chicks pen tonight and saw 3 of the things crawling in their food!!! Well the chicks are ON the roost and the roaches are on the crawl. So how other than chickens can you get rid of the things! They're SOOO NASTY and carry all kinds of stuff I'm sure. ekkkk
