what can you tell me about these droppings?

ladybird is currently being torpedo feed. she is recovering from anemia, possibly has mareks. she is gaining weight and getting her color back. wondering why all the excess liquid? these are from overnight. is this a problem with kidneys? the droppings are firm during the day. she drinks water on her own. thank you for any insight.

If I saw those, I'd think she was doing great. Your paper towel is pulling all of the moisture out of her poops. Her poops are soft because you're hand-feeding her, and she's not out there getting grit and other roughage that would thicken them up.

You could give her a little probiotics and that might help thicken up her stool.

It sounds like what you're doing is working! Do you put some raw egg yolk or cooked egg yolk in those? It's not going to help the loose stools much but it would aid a bit.
