What causes wrinkly eggshells? There's always only one egg a day that looks like this.

Thanks for the link. This egg most closely resembles the Corrugated Shell (#13). Of the possible causes, I think the most likely would be either hereditary or a defective shell gland. I'm assuming it is coming from just one individual. There are no flock-wide symptoms of any disease and they are all treated the same way, i.e. feed, care, etc..
 
I have a hen that lays eggs just like this all the time, a wyandotte called Ruby, I believe it is caused by either stress or the egg simply is not turning correctly as it is made, or both.
As far as I am aware and certainly in my experience it’s nothing to worry about as I say Ruby has been laying them for years and she is as healthy as healthy can be.
