What chicken lays the largest brown egg? darkest egg?

Marans lay nice dark eggs but I do not think they are the smartest bird in the flock and can get lazy laying eggs. If you want a nice large brown egg and are not showing off the eggs, just selling them at the local market or some friends then the Rhode Island red, Red Star and Black Star are good birds to get. The Main thing to remember is have fun with them no matter what size or color they produce.
