I have 2 buckeye hens and I really like them, super friendly and they take care of themselves, not to mention that we are helping to preserve the rare and heritage breeds. I also have 4 brahmas and they are cool, but not as friendly. All of my chickens ended up kind of wild from teasing from the dogs and the buckeyes are the only ones that let me get close to them. My aussies are nice to look at but they do not like me much.

I have 4 Buff Orpingtons they are great birds. Very friendly.
