Depending on thier class size (A,B,C or D), a Serama could be the same size as a jap or sebright, larger or much, much smaller. True Seramas look far different from the bird in the photo with thier extreme upright carriage, high tail and vertical wings. They are unlike any other breed and easily distinguishable if you know what to look for. You may have an Ancona bantam there or possibly a mix. It may also be simply a poor example of an old english bantam. Hatchery birds vary so greatly in color and conformation it's sometimes impossible to tell what the birds are supposed to be. The mottled coloring in combonation with the yellow legs is fairly uncommon in pure bred birds.
