Bantam breeds pro and cons

That's cool, they must not be very common
Last time I checked, both Ideal Poultry and Privett Hatchery sell Buff Laced Sebrights.

(They really should be called "White Laced Gold," with the other colors being called "Black Laced Gold" and "Black Laced Silver," but whoever named them did not do that. So they go by "Buff" or "Buff Laced.")

It is a matter of whether the breed comes in two sizes (large fowl and bantam), not a matter of what ancestry they had.

There are large fowl Brahmas and bantam Brahmas, so the bantam Brahmas are not "true bantams." The same goes for Cochins, Wyandottes, and Cornish: those breeds all come in both large fowl and bantam.

There are bantam Sebrights but no large fowl Sebrights, so Sebrights are a "true bantam," no matter what size breeds were used to develop them in the first place.
Ok that makes sense
