What color and pattern is this chick?

Are you saying that the correct order of pronunciation is Pied Purple White Eye chick? Or that it is only a Pied Purple and not a Pied Purple White Eye? Thanks for your help and any explanation of how you determined this is greatly appreciated.

correct is, purple pied, myslf not sure about white eye.

The color is that red brown of a purple. peach and cameo are brown also.

The pattern is easy , because silver pied chick only have few spots of color on them.

If that is a male , the yellow area on his lower back will be white in his train,

I know there is no definitive way to determine sex on a chick like the one the OP posted, but are there indications that we can look for that may give us a clue?? I talked to a long term breeder and he said MOST times the males will have thicker legs. Anything else we can look for? I have a 10 old chick that looks alot like that. It has one white wing and the other wing is 2 white, 2 brown, 2 white, etc....really cool looking patern. It also has what appears to be a smiley face on the back of its head!

A purple chick will be a red brown like Burt said and if you look at the wings you can see the silver frosting on them that make it a purple pied white-eye. The parents of this chick is a purple silver pied male and the hen is a purple pied or a purple pied white-eye. As to tell the sex of the chick at this age you can't have to wait till it older.

Doug, You're the best! Thanks so much for pitching in and clarifying what the chick is. It is my favorite so far this year.

I can tell it's a purple pied but Doug would have to explain the white-eyed part.
