Hi all! So I splurged on two silkie chicks at rural king today (couldn’t help myself like usual). I know they are extremelyyyy young but I just wanted your opinions on their coloring..
To me they look like they’ll be buff silkies but I’m not 100%sure. One is definitely lighter than the other-however both have white and tannish-brown peach fuzz... what do y’all think?

I had a couple of silkie chicks that were tannish like these and they grew up to be white. The one on the right in the last picture might be partridge because it is a little darker but it will probably white like the other.

Thanks! I have two white silkies right now, but they looked so different from these new babies! Maybe I’ll end up with 4 whites :)

I think buff - some are showing darker feathers coming in on back but actually white, buff, pink or blue, a really good bird, is a good bird to me, regardless of color. Unless you are expecting to show them.
I agree! No not planning on showing in the slightest. My curiosity just gets the best of me sometimes! The blotchy tan threw me off
