Oh my goodness this thread is OLD! It's also the closest I've come to figuring out my pretty rooster, so fingers crossed, anyone listening?
I have a spangled-looking bantam cochin roo I got from a breeder in Capitan, NM., but I have not been able to contact her due to losing her info. I am hoping someone here can help! Can I show him even though he isn't a recognized color? What color of hen should I cross him with for the prettiest babies? (I have a red hen with some black detailing on her feathers, she's still growing though.) He seems to be very correct, although he is still growing as well!
