What color are these Sumatras?

Hi all! We recently bought a Sumatra breeding pair, and they were said to be Black Sumatras. Am I crazy, or does this rooster look more like a Blue Sumatra? What about the hen?

If I were to breed them, would the chicks come out as blue or black? Now I'm wondering if I should just get a blue hen and search for another black rooster..

It's interesting how blue + blue gives 2x blue, black, and splash.
I'm assuming this all applies to Silkies as well, right?
